It comes complete with an automatic two-speed shifter, five sealed batteries (the size used in a small car) as well as a 3000 watt brushless rear-hub motor for nearly zero maintenance. Unlike most gas motorcycles, none of our electric motorcycles or mopeds require any shifting. It's just pure smooth ultra-quiet acceleration!

Expected life of the sealed batteries is about 3 years with normal use. Replacement batteries are widely available - from us and also major battery retailers. Also keep in mind that, 3 years from now with more electric vehicles on the road, more battery replacement options at lower cost are likely to be available.

Each XM-3000 includes a MCO certificate (Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin) and Dealer Bill of Sale that you can take to your local DMV office in exchange for a Title (Pink Slip) and License Plate / Registration.
